Investing In You

Day’s provides an Associate Development Training Program to all associates upon hire. We also offer and fund both professional and jewelry related educational opportunities. There are various career pathways all associates are provided with from day one. It is vital that we prepare and educate all employees to the highest level to ensure our customers are given the most exceptional and knowledgeable experience, while also investing in our employees, and encouraging their personal and professional growth.

Why Be An Employee When You Can Be An Owner?

In the early 1970’s, Day’s was the largest retail jewelry company in New England with 22 stores. When Kathy and Jeff Corey purchased Day’s Jewelers in 1988, only one of the 22 Day’s stores remained because the previous owners were unable to sell the company intact. Their mission was to create a company that would stand the test of time. Since then, they have built an amazing company, with 8 stores and a robust website. They chose to sell the company to an ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) in order to uphold Day's culture and ensure the future of the company remained in the employee's hands.

As an ESOP, each year the appreciated value of Day's is distributed to employees in the form of deposits to their retirement accounts.
