Our fine jewelry is handcrafted - from sketch to final polish - using Balinese techniques passed down through generations.
Rich In Quality And Character
Handcrafted details make each piece truly one of a kind - with reclaimed metals and ethically sourced gemstones that display natural inclusions and distinct hues.
A Soulful Evolution
Drawing inspiration from Bali's elemental beauty, we are guided by our heritage of artistry and reverence for nature in everything we do.
Our Brands Values
At John Hardy, we have always aimed to make our business a force for positive change. Today, that commitment comes to life in three essential values.
We are artisans. We are community. We are sustainable.
We Are Sustainable
As a certified member of the Responsible Jewellery Council as well as being compliant to the Kimberly Process, John Hardy is committed to codes of practice that ensure our stones, diamonds and metals are conflict-free and ethically produced every step of the way.
The same sense of responsibility is applied to our packaging. From our jewelry boxes to our shopping bags, all paper materials are now certified by the Forest Stewardship Council, a non-profit that manages the environmental and economic benefits of trees.
We Craft Jewelry That Gives Back
Our “Wear Bamboo, Plant Bamboo” initiative,
in partnership with non-profit 1,000 Bamboo Villages, is committed to offsetting our carbon footprint and providing local communities with training on the benefits of growing bamboo as well as sustainable farming. This means every time you shop from our Bamboo Collection, we plant bamboo seedlings in Bali on your behalf. Our commitment towards building
a better tomorrow is always evolving.
Our Collections
CLASSIC CHAIN
As one of our first collections, Classic Chain® put John Hardy on the international map – but it could only have been developed in Bali, where women have traditionally woven flower offerings for the gods as well as cloth and baskets as part of daily life, empowering them to bring prosperity to their families. Today, we preserve the practice at our workshop, where solely women weave Classic Chain® by hand using techniques passed down through generations with reclaimed metals.
DOT
Emblematic of endless connection, our signature spheres nod to the strength of unity and infinite possibility. This collection pays homage to archetypical John Hardy archival pieces with elements of our iconic chain carved into each.
BAMBOO
When you shop the Bamboo Collection, we plant bamboo in Bali on your behalf. A reminder of your contribution, the number of seedlings sowed is engraved inside each piece you purchase. Our “Wear Bamboo, Plant Bamboo” initiative, in partnership with non-profit 1,000 Bamboo Villages, is committed to cultivating and preserving the natural beauty of Bali.
NAGA
According to folklore, the Naga dragon lives atop Balinese volcanoes, guarding its love at the depths of the sea: the precious pearl. When you wear your Naga facing outwards, its serves as a symbol of protection. Wear Naga inwards as a token of love.
